Add one more thing to love about Jon Stewart. The 53-year-old comedian and his wife Tracey help give a loving home to an abused horse named Lily. The thin Arabian/Appaloosa pony mix is blind in her right eye and has been shot with over 100 paintballs.

20-year-old Lily was abandoned at New Holland Sales Stables in Lancaster County. Stewart and his wife adopt the white pony through the Omega Horse Rescue and Rehabilitation Center. The couple has also adopted another neglected mare named Anita.

The two horses were treated at Penn Vet's New Bolton Center in Kennett Square, Chester County. They are currently staying at a private rehabilitation center in the city and are expected to be brought home by Stewart and his wife to their farm in New Jersey later.

"Today justice was found for Lily, so the next part of her journey will begin. Lily along with our beloved Anita, are being adopted by the comedian Jon Stewart and his wife Tracey. There are no words to describe how this feels," the Omega Horse Rescue said on Facebook.

"There are no words to describe how this feels. Both of these horses overcame odds that were against them. Now both will spend their lives with never having to be abused, neglected or unwanted," the group continued.

57-year-old Phillip Price Jr. of Rhode Island, the man who dumped Lily at the horse sale, was fined and convicted on counts of animal cruelty and handling animals without a license.
