Macklemore turns every place he hits into a dance floor in the official music video for his and Ryan Lewis' new single, "Dance Off". Directed by Lewis along with Jason Koenig, the clip has a cameo from Idris Elba who's featured on the song.
The actor kicks off the visuals, sporting a black-and-white furry coat and telling viewers, "I challenge you to a dance off. Hands off, no trash talk, no back walk." Later, dance battles break out during a wedding reception, at a hotel restaurant and everywhere Macklemore goes.
"Dance Off" is lifted off Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' latest album, "This Unruly Mess I've Made", which also includes "Downtown", the Ed Sheeran-assisted "Growing Up" and the controversial "White Privilege II".
Before releasing the music video, the duo promoted their newest single with a performance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show". Stopping by the daytime show on Tuesday, May 17, the duo was joined by a group of dancers who took turn showing off their impressive dance moves on the stage.
