The singer's set at the May 22 awards event will reportedly include references to her ongoing legal battle with Dr. Luke and some images of the producer.

AceShowbiz - Kesha, formerly Ke$ha, is reportedly heading to the 2016 Billboard Music Awards. Amid her legal battle with Dr. Luke, the singer will reportedly make a "statement" with her performance at the event set for later this month.

TMZ, which first reported the news, says that the "TiK ToK" hitmaker's set could include direct references to her ongoing war against Luke, whom she's been accusing of raping and abusing her. She may also use some images of the producer.

If the report's true, Kesha will join BBMA performers like Justin Bieber, Demi Lovato, Nick Jonas, Pink, Britney Spears, Madonna and more at the ceremony that's airing live on ABC from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on May 22.

Kesha already let fans know what to expect from her "statement performance" when she covered Lady GaGa's "Till It Happens to You" last weekend. During her appearance at the Humane Society's "To the Rescue!" Gala in Los Angeles, she wowed the crowd with a powerful and emotional rendition of the anti-rape culture anthem.
