Prince Reportedly Received Prescription Weeks Before His Death, Authorities Raid Paisley Park

Following the release of a search warrant for the late musician's medical records, authorities found that a physician prescribed medication to the singer two weeks before he was found unconsious.

AceShowbiz - While police continue to investigate Prince's cause of death, new findings about the late singer's medical records have emerged. ABC affiliate KSTP recently found that the "Purple Rain" singer received a prescription shortly before he passed away.

According to a search warrant, a physician prescribed medication to Prince on April 7. The paper also claims that the music icon underwent tests on April 20, a day before he was found unconscious at his Paisley Park home. It's still unknown what Prince was being treated for, but KSTP reported that the late pop star's people said he was treated for an illness in 2014 and 2015 at Ridgeview Hospital in Chaska, Minnesota.

On Tuesday, May 10, the Carver County Sheriff's Office tweeted that "detectives are revisiting the scene at Paisley Park as a component of a complete investigation." According to the Associated Press, a Carver County Sheriff's vehicle came along with about a dozen unmarked vehicles as they entered through the gates of Paisley Park.

In other news, new details about a man who claimed to be Prince's biological son surfaced. Carlin Q. Williams, who filed a paternity claim against Prince's estate, is currently in federal prison for gun possession.

Williams filed the paperwork on Monday, May 9, alleging that his mother, Marsha Henson, had an unprotected sex with Prince in July 1976 at a Kansas City, Missouri, hotel. In the paper, Henson claims she didn't have sex with anyone else from six weeks before she met Prince until she gave birth to Williams on April 8, 1977. Williams also demanded a DNA test to prove that he's Prince's heir.
