Olivia Munn revealed that she lost 12 pounds while filming "X-Men: Apocalypse". While many wondered how she could do that, the 35-year-old actress said that she lost her weight unintentionally.

In an interview with E! News alongside her co-star Sophie Turner and Evan Peters, Munn said, "It was not intentional. I was trying to learn how to do all of the stunts. My character's the last to be brought into the story. They weren't expecting Psylocke to do a lot of fighting in the movie, but when I had signed on, I said that's something that I really wanted."

It turned out that her wight loss was due to her hard workout and training in order to portray mutant Psylocke in the movie. The crew behind the movie initially brought a stuntwoman for Munn, but she refused the offer and ended up doing all of the stunts by herself.

"So when they brought in my stunt person - she's super talented and very athletic, but she had never done stunts before, and she'd never done martial arts or any fighting, and she'd never picked up a sword. So when she told me that, I was like oh, my gosh," Munn said.

Munn thought that it would be better that she performed all of the stunts by herself, because she actually grew up doing Taekwondo. "She was very capable and very athletic, but she had never done any stunts before, and I had grown up doing Taekwondo," she continued. "I'm like, this is Psylocke's entry into this world, I'm not Jennifer Lawrence, if they don't have it, they're not gonna make sure to get it in there somehow. If there's not a fight scene being shot, if they don't have it, they're not gonna use it."

After deciding that she wouldn't use a stuntwoman, Munn started to train hard to perfect her skills. "If I wanted the fans to see Psylocke and get a good fight scene for her and the fans, I knew I had to go do it myself. So I started training every day with Taekwondo and sword and the stunt and wire work, and I just ended up losing 12 pounds from working out every day," she added.
