A woman named Darcell Gresham Johnston has reportedly come forward, claiming to be Prince's half sister. She has filed legal documents, saying that she is a beneficiary in the late music icon's multimillion dollar estate.
In the legal document obtained by PEOPLE, Darcell says she is an "interested party" and also consents to the "appointment of Bremer Trust, National Assocation as Special Administrator for the Estate."
According to TMZ, Darcell and Prince have the same mother, jazz singer Mattie Shaw, but different fathers. However, some members of his family "only learned of Darcell's existence a few days ago."
In other news, Sinead O'Connor accused Arsenio Hall of supplying the "Purple Rain" singer with drugs over the years. Sinead posted a lengthy message on Facebook, saying that Prince got his drugs from the comedian. "Two words for the DEA investigating where prince got his drugs over the decades. Arsenio Hall (AKA Prince's and Eddie Murphy's b***h)," Sinead wrote.
"Anyone imagining prince was not a long time hard drug user is living in cloud cuckoo land. Aresenio I've reported you to the Carver County Sherrif's (sic) office. Expect their call. They are aware you spiked me years ago at Eddie Murphy's house. You best get tidying your man cave," he continued.
However, Arsenio's rep Traci Harper was quick to deny the claim. "The statement regarding Arsenio Hall is absolutely false, ridiculous and absurd," he said.
