The Weeknd brought some of his hits to the 2016 Met Gala. The singer took the stage at the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Benefit in New York City on Monday, May 2 and performed his chart-topping singles for A-listers in attendance.
Despite the bash's no-social-media rule, some audience members managed to capture the Canadian star's performance in some videos they later shared online. He kicked off his set with "Can't Feel My Face" and then followed it up with his other No. 1 song, "The Hills". He also invited Nas to join him on the stage for a remix of "Tell Your Friends", another cut off his 2015 album "Beauty Behind the Madness".

The Weeknd attended the 2016 Met Gala with his girlfriend Bella Hadid. Earlier that night, they posed for photos together while walking the annual event's red carpet. The 28-year-old singer looked dapper in a black suit, while his model girlfriend stunned in a strapless Givenchy dress featuring a large plush train. She teamed the dress with thigh-high peep-toe boots.
