As expected, Peter Dinklage brought "Game of Thrones" to "Saturday Night Live" when he hosted the NBC comedy series on April 2. He appeared in a skit playing himself dressed as his "Thrones" character Tyrion, joined by Kate McKinnon who impersonated Emilia Clarke and Taran Killam as Iain Glen.

They shared a "behind-the-scenes look" at season 6 of the HBO series, revealing the troubles of filming some scenes involving Dany's dragon Drogo, which is played by Bobby Moynihan. Moynihan made a lot of mistakes during the shooting, annoyed his co-stars and was seemingly uncomfortable in his CGI suit.

In another skit, Dinklage and Leslie Jones joined the "Celebrity Edition" of reality survival series "Naked and Afraid". During their 21 days living in the woods, the two couldn't get along well. "She knows my name isn't Tyrion," Dinklage told the camera, complaining about Jones who kept calling him by his fictional "Thrones" character's name. "I've told her several times to call me Peter." Dinklage also claimed that Jones sexually harassed him and at one point Jones tried to eat him to survive.

Musical guest Gwen Stefani took part in another skit called "Mafia Meeting", in which Dinklage distracted a meeting between a group of mobsters. Rocking a Sia Furler-inspired wig, he sang a song titled "Space Pants" at a restaurant and was later joined by the No Doubt frontwoman.

Stefani also took the stage of the show to perform her new songs "Misery" and "Make Me Like You".
