"Captain America: Civil War" is coming to China. Directors Anthony and Joe Russo have announced plans to promote the third installment of the "Captain America" film series in Beijing on April 19, according to Chinese news agency Xinhua.

Russo Brothers revealed on their Weibo account that cast members like Chris Evans, Sebastian Stan and Anthony Mackie are joining them at the promotional event. They will unveil the release date for "Civil War" in China at the conference.

Disney hasn't commented on the promotional plans in China. Sources tells Variety that "Civil War" will be released in China on May 6, same as its wide release in North America. The sequel to "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" will have a Los Angeles premiere on April 12.

According to the site, Russo Brothers are also preparing to become producers in China under their Anthem & Song banner. They have backing from local production partner United Entertainment and finance from fund HQDH.

Another movie that may also be on track for release in China is "Alice Through the Looking Glass". Sources claim in this week, private sector media carried Chinese-language posters for the "Alice in Wonderland" sequel along with a Chinese-language trailer, although the movie has not yet been submitted for censorship.
