Justin Timberlake is being accused of stealing one of his songs from Cirque du Soleil. The troupe has filed a lawsuit against the Grammy-winning singer, claiming that he sampled a part of their track without their permission for "Don't Hold the Wall" from his 2013 album, "The 20/20 Experience".

The Cirque du Soleil song in question is "Steel Dream", which was composed by Benoit Jutras for their ninth stage production called "Quidam". The track also appeared on an album that came out in 1997.

The group is seeking $800,000 in copyright infringement damages from Timberlake as well as Timbaland, J-Roc and James Fauntleroy who all collaborated with him on "Don't Hold the Wall". They also name Sony Music as a defendant in the suit filed Thursday, March 31 in a New York federal court.

This is hardly Timberlake's first time to have been sued for allegedly stealing other artists' music. Prior to this, he and will.i.am were accused of ripping off late disco artist Perry Kibble's tune called "A New Day Is Here at Last" for "Damn Girl" off the former NSYNC member's 2006 solo record, "FutureSex/LoveSounds".
