Is a feud brewing off-screen of "Dancing with the Stars" season 22? Rumor has it, Nyle DiMarco has gotten a lot of nasty backlash from other cast members after he stole the show in the season premiere last week.
"Nyle has been getting a lot of backlash from others on the cast because he was the star of the show last week," a source tells RadarOnline.com. "Although he had a slightly difficult time learning the dance because he is deaf, Nyle is extremely devoted to winning this season."
It allegedly didn't sit well with the other male cast members. "Of course people are jealous because the man is simply stunning," the source adds. "His fan club blew up last week." The source claims the other men competing on the show "seem to be jealous of him, because he is so young and hot."
"Some of the men on set have even been making fun of Nyle," the source says. "They think because he cannot hear them he doesn't know. But his camp knows, and he is just using this criticism to push him even harder."
Nyle is a deaf model who won "America's Next Top Model" cycle 22. After scoring 23 in the first week, he stumbled a bit in the "Latin Night" episode. The judges took issue with an obvious lift in his rumba with pro partner Peta Murgatroyd. He earned 20 points, but survived the first elimination.
Geraldo Rivera and Edyta Sliwinska were the first eliminated pair. The veteran journalist seemed to agree with the result as saying, "If I didn't get eliminated tonight I would have demanded a recount."
