Not even a wardrobe malfunction could stop Ariana Grande from belting out her song on "Saturday Night Live". The former Nickelodeon star had a minor issue with her jacket while singing her new single "Dangerous Woman" on the NBC sketch series, but she handled it like a pro.
Her performance was flawed from the start as Larry David botched the introduction. Grande took the stage in a black ensemble with a jacket slung loosely around her shoulders. She dropped her arm and let it slide off to one side, making it hang awkwardly off her right arm. She slipped the jacket back on, only to let it slip down again for the duration of the song.
Whether or not it was intentional, the jacket situation confused her fans. "Can someone teach @ArianaGrande how to wear a jacket properly," @KingWillonce tweeted. Another Twitter user named Jenna Hasskarl wrote, "Not understanding the one arm jacket on Ariana grande look on SNL."
Despite the distraction, Grande managed to deliver the song flawlessly and showed off her killer vocals. One tweeter posted, "Mad respect for Ariana Grande right now. She is killing it wearing one sleeve of her jacket most of her performance."
The wardrobe malfunction aside, the "Scream Queens" actress successfully made the audience laugh with her vocal impressions of Shakira, Rihanna, Britney Spears and Celine Dion in a skit called "Tidal".
