It seems like Azealia Banks doesn't want to start any other social media feud. The 24-year-old raptress announced to her nearly 550,000 followers on Tuesday, March 8 that she stopped using Twitter.
However, the "Chasing Time" rapper did not leave quietly. Before she deactivated her Twitter account, she posted a lengthy message detailing the reasons why she made the decision. "Ok, today, i'm finally making the decision to eject from social media (sic)," she wrote. "american media culture is honestly so f**king disgusting and junky and complaining about it is not going to change it. reading s**t, seeing stupid a** articles and dumb b***hes/bros has just really filled me up with a lot of bad feelings."
"it's been a great couple of years, sharing opinions and having conversations, but i think i will be so much happier just NOT looking at this. (Americans have the WORST taste in everything.) So my friends, its time to say goodbye once and for all to this account. This account will exist no more. Time for a bit of Mystery... Goodbye," she added.
Banks has caused quite a stir on the microblogging site as she was involved in a series of battles with famous celebrities like Iggy Azalea. In the last 60 days, she slammed Rihanna's "Work" music video, reignited her feud with the Australian raptress and voiced her endorsement of Donald Trump.
