AceShowbiz - Madonna let her inner conflict out when performing in New Zealand on Saturday, March 5 to promote her latest album "Rebel Heart". The queen of pop dedicated a song to her son Rocco, who is now living with her ex-husband Guy Ritchie in London.
"It's true, there is no love stronger than a mother for her son," Madonna said of Rocco. "And if I talk about it too much, I might cry. But I would like to dedicate this song to him. It's a love song for a man, but I know he'll be one, one day."
Madonna is in the middle of a custody war with Ritchie. Madonna reportedly has accepted the possibility that Rocco would remain in London with his father but she was still hoping that the 15-year-old could come visit her in the United States one weekend per month.
"I hope he hears this somewhere and he knows how much I miss him," she told the audience at Auckland's Vector Arena before singing "La Vie en Rose".
Madonna and Ritchie are close to signing a deal about the custody. Should they fail to reach a settlement, the parties are due back in court in New York on June 1 and in London this upcoming Thursday, March 10.
