ABC has found a sister for Baby in its upcoming "Dirty Dancing (2017)" reboot. "Modern Family" actress Sarah Hyland is tapped to play Lisa Houseman, the extroverted older sister to the main character. The role was previously played by Jane Brucker.

In the three-hour TV movie, Hyland will join Abigail Breslin who is attached to take over the main role originated by Jennifer Grey and Colt Prattes who is cast as the male lead made famous by the late Patrick Swayze in the original 1987 feature film.

It revolves around Frances "Baby" Houseman, an innocent young woman who falls for a working-class dance instructor. Debra Messing is expected to play Baby's mother Marjorie, a role originally played by Kelly Bishop, and Nicole Scherzinger will play Penny, a dancer who becomes pregnant and gets an abortion. The role was originally played Cynthia Rhodes on the big screen.
