The Stephanie Tanner of 'Fuller House' has been rehearsing with her pro-dance partner, saying that they 'get along really well.'

AceShowbiz - Jodie Sweetin has been officially confirmed as the first contestant for the upcoming season of "Dancing with the Stars". The "Fuller House" actress broke the news on "Good Morning America" and revealed that she's partnering with Keo Motsepe.

She called her pro-dance partner a "phenomenal dancer." "It's so fun," she described their first days of rehearsals. "We got through some basic moves of several different styles of dance and just had a lot of fun with it." She added, "He and I get along really well."

She has told her family about her "DWTS" gig but she kept things vague with her two young kids. "I mentioned it very briefly to them because they're eight and five so they're sort of untrustworthy with secrets," she explained. "Now I can go home and be like, 'Yeah, yeah, yeah, here's pictures and here's all the stuff.' "

"They'll come to rehearsals and tapings and be very excited," the mother of two added. "I think they'll mostly just like the costumes really."

Fellow "Fuller House" member, Candace Cameron Bure, also competed for the Mirror Ball trophy in season 18. "She's been really great and excited for me and has shared with me that this is going to be one of the most exciting, overwhelming, physically and mentally demanding things that I'll ever do, but that it's incredibly worth it," Sweetin said.

Sweetin herself has a dance experience on their show. The Stephanie Tanner depicter danced with Valentin Chmerkovskiy in one scene. "I've always loved to dance and Stephanie was a dancer on the show growing up," she said. "I definitely don't call myself a professional but I have some experience." She went on, "I have some rhythm so I think I'll be okay."

"DWTS" will premiere season 22 on March 21. The rest of the contestants will be announced in the next coming weeks. "America's Next Top Model" winner Nyle DiMarco, UFC fighter Paige VanZant and "Facts of Life" star Kim Fields are among the rumored contestants. Len Goodman, who took a year off the show, is coming back as a judge while Julianne Hough quits the show. Pro dancer Derek Hough skips the new season as well.
