Here's your first look at the Angel Grove city of upcoming "Power Rangers" reboot, which has just kicked off production. In some photos shared by The Vancouver Sun's reporter Francois Marchand, fans can see a police car of Angel Grove.

The pictures were taken on Monday night, February 29 at Gladstone Secondary School, which is standing for Angel Groove High. "HOLLYWOOD NORTH: Huge setup for the shoot of "Shirt" around the Gladstone school yard. @VancouverSun #BCFilm," Francois wrote alongside the set photos.

Earlier in the day, Lionsgate/Saban revealed the official plot details for "Power Rangers" while announcing that the film officially started its production in Vancouver, BC, Canada. The synopsis read, "Saban's 'Power Rangers' follows five ordinary high school kids who must become something extraordinary when they learn that their small town of Angel Grove - and the world - is on the verge of being obliterated by an alien threat."

"Chosen by destiny, our heroes quickly discover that they are the only ones who can save the planet. But to do so they will have to overcome their real-life issues and band together as the Power Rangers before it is too late," it continued.

Starring Dacre Montgomery, RJ Cyler, Naomi Scott, Becky G, Ludi Lin and Elizabeth Banks, "Power Rangers" is set to hit U.S. theaters on March 24, 2017.
