It did not take long for new parents Louis Tomlinson and Briana Jungwirth to reach a settlement about their son's custody, albeit it's temporary. The former lovers avoided the courtroom drama when the One Direction singer agreed to a scheduled visitation.

As previously reported, Tomlinson lawyered up to fight for custody of his newborn son Freddie. Jungwirth allegedly prevented him from seeing the baby until he paid her. According to TMZ, Tomlinson's lawyers went to the court on Friday, February 26 morning to present a judge with legal documents that will help the singer get access to Freddie.

Under the temporary settlement, Tomlinson will indeed get visitation for several hours at a time during the week but won't be allowed to stay overnight. This arrangement is temporary while their lawyers set up something more formal on the custody and child support.

An updated story said Tomlinson and Jungwirth, who were civil throughout the first few weeks after Freddie's birth, got into a war after they could not agree on a monthly support. TMZ was told that he gave her a varied amount of money from week to week and she wanted more than he was willing to give.

Tomlinson had a fling with the stylist in early 2015 and split from her in summer that year. She got pregnant and gave birth to their son in Los Angeles on January 21. While his legal team was eager to set up a DNA test, Tomlinson reportedly refused to take it and truly believed that he was the father.
