Fifth Harmony knows you've been hearing rumors about their new single's title and release date. Still, they want you to know details about their forthcoming project from their mouth, so they took to Instagram on late Wednesday, February 24 to officially announce "Work From Home" as the leading cut off their upcoming sophomore album, which they also revealed would be titled "7/27".

The ladies shared on the social media a video of a black car running through a desert, where you can see a sign with the album's title and release date in it. The record's cover art, featuring the ladies posing in glamorous outfits with the car and the desert in the backdrop, flashes towards the end of the 15-second clip.

In the caption, they confirmed that "Work From Home" would arrive this Friday, February 26. "We know there has been a lot of talk, but we wanted you to hear this from us #WorkFromHome coming Feb. 26th," they wrote. "Our new album 7/27 is coming May 20th."

"7/27" serves as a follow-up to the girls' 2014 debut set "Reflection", which peaked at No. 5 on Billboard 200 and spawned hits like "Sledgehammer" and the Kid Ink-assisted "Worth It". Ally Brooke said in a recent interview that she and the other members had worked with "amazing writers like Julia Michaels and Justin Tranter, Stargate [and] MXM" for their second full-length.

"It's a change for us, it's definitely a step up. Fifth Harmony is a different Fifth Harmony today and our music has definitely evolved as just like we have as people. And we're so excited to share this the world... It's going to be awesome and I hope everybody loves it and we've worked hard," she shared.

"Sonically it's a step up. [What] I love about this album is that it does have a pretty consistent lane but it also has variety which is awesome. And we are more vulnerable on this album as far as what we speak about, and we talk about. And we've matured a lot on this album as well. And I think that's going to really shine through it and I hope people will like it. That's my goal and my hope," she added.
