The former Disney star announces on SnapChat that the band will serve as the opening act in the North American leg of her tour.

Selena Gomez won't be alone when she's hitting the road later this year. She announced Tuesday, February 23 in a series of SnapChat videos that she'd bring along fellow former Disney star Joe Jonas and his new band DNCE on her "Revival" tour.
In the SnapChat clips, Selena films herself giving a tour around her new Los Angeles apartment, letting fans see her kitchen and drum sticks inside her fridge before heading to her bedroom where the DNCE members, plus a stuffed giraffe wearing a party hat, surprise her with the announcement.
Selena's tour is coming in support of her latest album of the same title. The North American leg, which will feature DNCE as the opening act, is scheduled to kick off on May 6 in Las Vegas and wrap up on July 8 in Los Angeles.
"I am ready to get back on the road and see my fans in person!" the 23-year-old pop diva said in a statement a few months ago. "This album marks a new and very important chapter in my life. I cannot wait to get on stage and perform this new material."
Selena isn't the only former Disney darling who's going on a tour with a Jonas. Demi Lovato is currently gearing up for the "Future Now" tour which she co-headlines with Joe's brother Nick Jonas.
