Chrissy Teigen apparently got criticized for considering to hire a night nurse for her first child with John Legend. She felt the sting of criticism after she told Us Weekly at a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue event about the parenting advice she received, "The recommendation of a night nurse! It's pretty unanimous. Everyone was like, 'If you can do it, do it.' So we're going for it!"

The pregnant model quickly defended herself against the hate comments. "A night nurse doesn't replace you waking and feeding at night. You're up with them. They're helpers and teachers," the mom-to-be tweeted to one criticizing fan. She wrote to another, "You have NO idea what I am utilizing the nurse for. She isn't solely taking care of her or stealing 'precious time.' "

Teigen also blasted the tabloid for picking her "night nurse" remark as the headline. "So I am nice enough to choose to stop and talk to you guys and you use the last of many questions as your headline because you know it will make me look like a poor, uncaring mother and get people talking. Awesome. Doesn't go unnoticed." She added, "Literally always make the time to talk to you and am honest and open to your extremely personal questions. No more. I've learned."

The "Lip Sync Battle" co-host then thanked a fan who said hiring a night nurse "doesn't make you seem uncaring at all. Any mother with the resources to do so would hire as much help as possible!" She added, "No one else has replied to that article like that though, trust me." To another supportive fan, she wrote, "I am so used to sharing our life that I forget how protective I will be soon. I cannot handle this kind of constant judgement!"

Not only is Chrissy Teigen preparing herself for diaper duty but she is also bracing herself against the impending criticisms about her parenting skills. "As you can see, I am already dreading all overly critical parenting articles to come in my life!" she tweeted. "I just held a tiny baby of sleepy mush and I'm just prepping you for 'chrissy teigen holds baby stupidly' article. She was nuzzly and happy!"
