The Facebook CEO hits the thumbs-up button on a status posted by a Facebook user regarding the rapper's request for a billion dollar loan.

AceShowbiz - Is Mark Zuckerberg considering to lend $1 billion to Kanye West? The Facebook CEO has apparently responded after the Yeezy creator posted on Twitter a request for 1 billion dollars as an investment.

Zuckerberg appeared to hit the thumbs-up button on a status posted by Facebook user Steven Grimm on Monday regarding West's request for the loan. The post, which has since been deleted, read, "Dear Kanye West: If you're going to ask the CEO of Facebook for a billion dollars, maybe don't do it on Twitter."

Zuckerberg, who announced last December that he and his wife Pricilla Chan would give 99 percent of their Facebook shares "during our lives" to charitable purposes, has not released an official statement regarding West's plea. It's also unclear if Zuckerberg "likes" the Facebook user's comment or West's request.

West, who has been ranting on Twitter about various issues, opened up on Saturday, February 13 that he's $53 million dollars in personal debt. He wrote on the following day, "Mark Zuckerberg I know it's your bday but can you please call me by 2mrw... You love hip hop, you love my art... I am your favorite artist but you watch me barely breathe and still play my album in your house."

He also urged everyone to relay the message to Zuckerberg via Twitter, "FaceTime, Facebook, instagram, whatever you gotta do to get Mark to support me." He added, "I'm this generation's Disney... I want to bring dope s**t to the world... I don't have enough resources to create what I really can..."

The "Heartless" hitmaker pleaded once again, "Mark, I am publicly asking you for help... one of the coolest things you could ever do is to help me in my time of need and I will always respect you for that and the world will love you..."
