Annabeth Gish returns as Agent Monica Reyes in the sixth and final episode of the FOX revival.

AceShowbiz - Another familiar face is back for the finale of "The X-Files" revival. In addition to The Smoking Man (William B. Davis) who was seen in a preview, Annabeth Gish will reprise her role as Agent Monica Reyes in the upcoming episode.
Newly released photos for the finale have now given first look at her return. She reunites with Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson) in one image. They speak on a bench in the rain. Other characters featured in the pictures are Agent Miller (Robbie Amell) and Agent Einstein (Lauren Ambrose), who were first introduced in episode 5.
Titled "My Struggle II", the finale will air Monday, February 22 at 8/7c on FOX. A preview for the episode has teased a global catastrophe, as Tad O'Malley (Joel McHale) claims that alien DNA has been put in every American citizen without their knowing. As everyone is dying, Mulder (David Duchovny) confronts the man whom he believes to be behind it all, but another figure from Mulder and Scully's past may prove to be the key to their salvation.
Series creator Chris Carter, who wrote and directed the episode, promises the episode will provide "the answer to the question posed by the first part of the two-parter [the season premiere.]" He tells EW, "It is the predicament of their lives brought into the most frightening spotlight that I could imagine. The predicament of: Where is their child?"
