It seems like Nina Dobrev is a single woman again. A source confirmed to E! News that "The Vampire Diaries" alum and Austin Stowell had pulled the plug on their relationship after seven months of dating.
Fans started to speculate that the pair ended their relationship when the Canadian actress was spotted attending this year's Super Bowl without the actor. "It started to get hard with both of their schedules," the source said. "They remain on good terms."
According to multiple sources, the breakup happened sometime around late January to early February. That might be why the 27-year-old actress attended the Super Bowl without him and they didn't spend Valentine's Day together. Instead, Dobrev hung out with friends on the special day. Dobrev then took to Instagram to share her happy moment during V-Day. "Sunday Funday #HappyGALentinesDay," she captioned the photo.
Dobrev, who previously dated Ian Somerhalder, and Stowell were first reported dating back in June 2015, when they were spotted kissing while attending the Hallmark Shoebox relaunch at The Improv in Hollywood. They later confirmed their romance on Twitter. "That weird moment when you realize you don't follow your girlfriend on Twitter..." Stowell joked. "#socialmediaproblems @ninadobrev."
