Selena Gomez expressed her excitement of Justin Bieber's first-ever Grammy win at the awards show which was held on Monday, February 15. Despite saying that she's exhausted talking about her ex-boyfriend several days ago, the former Disney star admitted that she was "very happy" to know that the "Sorry" singer took home a gong.

"I'm very happy for him," Gomez told Entertainment Tonight. The 23-year-old songstress, who watched Bieber's performance at the event, also praised him. "Honestly, so cool," Gomez said of Bieber. "They have such a cool energy amongst all of them to be able to create something like that. It's really great."

Bieber, along with his collaborators Skrillex and Diplo, won a Grammy for their dance track "Where Are You Now". The pop star sent audience into a frenzy when he showed up on stage with his guitar and started to sing his track "Love Yourself". He was then joined by Diplo and Skrillex and performed the award-winning song.

Earlier this month, Gomez said that she wasn't able to get Bieber out of her life even though it'd been years since they broke up. She admitted that she was tired of talking about him and always surrounded by reporters who asked a lot of questions about her ex. "I'm so exhausted. I honestly am so done. I care about his health and well-being. But I can't do it anymore," she said.
