Just weeks after Tyra Banks announced that she and boyfriend Erik Asla welcomed their first child named York, the 42-year-old supermodel shared the very first photo of the newborn baby on Instagram. In the photo, Banks went makeup free as she's seen staring off into the distance with York resting on her chest.
"This is the Happiest Valentine's Day of my life. York, Daddy @erikasla and I send you so much love," she captioned the adorable snap. The "America's Next Top Model" host wore a simple grey sweatshirt and an ethnic head scarf.
Banks and her photographer boyfriend welcomed their first son back on January 27. She announced the good news through the same social media app by uploading a photo of a knitted hat with a lengthy message to express her gratitude.
The baby arrived via surrogate and his birth was a little bit surprising as people had no idea that Banks and Asla were expecting. The pair struggled with fertility issue before deciding to use a surrogate. "As I gaze into the beautiful eyes of my son, I think about all the people who struggle with fertility or carrying a child and continue to pray for them every day," Banks previously said.
