The 'What Do You Mean' singer and the 'Hands to Myself' hitmaker are set to take the stand in a trial which results from Bieber's alleged assault on a paparazzo.

AceShowbiz - Justin Bieber and his then-girlfriend Selena Gomez will have an unlikely reunion. According to Gossip Extra, the exes will meet again as they are set to take the stand in a trial which will start on February 16 in Los Angeles Superior Court and is slated to last four days.

It all stems from Bieber's alleged assault on a paparazzo in May 2012. The incident happened at the parking lot of The Commons shopping center in Calabasas, California where Justin reportedly attacked Jose Osmin Hernandez Duran after he got too close to the "Sorry" singer and the songstress.

When Duran swarmed Bieber's car, the 22-year-old singer jumped out of his car and "delivered a martial-arts type kick" to Duran's left lower rib before launching a "hard" punch to his face. Duran went on to file a lawsuit against Bieber back in June 2013. The trial has been postponed several times, but the judge has declared that it will no longer be put off.

"They've been negotiating for ever with Duran's people," a source close to Bieber said. "Duran doesn't think he is being taken seriously. Justin's people are consistently offering him less than seven figures and Duran wants more than seven figures."
