Matt LeBlanc Is 'Not Your Friend' as His CBS Comedy Pilot Gets Series Commitment

The 'Joey' alum will star as a contractor in a new CBS multicamera sitcom as well as serve as executive producer along with Jeff and Jackie Filgo.

AceShowbiz - Matt LeBlanc is back to broadcast television with "I'm Not Your Friend". The "Friends" alum has signed up to topline the CBS multicamera comedy pilot with a hefty series commitment penalty attached for LeBlanc's services.

In the comedy show, the 48-year-old actor will star as a contractor who discovers that raising kids is more challenging than he thought after his wife goes back to work. He will also executive produce the show along with Jeff and Jackie Filgo as well as Michael Rotenberg.

The Filgos pen the script. No director is currently attached to the project and additional cast members have not been announced yet.

LeBlanc is currently a series regular on Showtime's "Episodes". There have been speculations that the upcoming fifth season would be the last for the show, but the final verdict has not been revealed.

LeBlanc and his "Friends" co-stars Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow and David Schwimmer are set to appear in NBC's special to honor director James Burrows which set to air Sunday, February 21. He's recently also announced as a new co-host on BBC's "Top Gear".
