Donald Trump legally has the right to use Adele's songs despite her recent objections. A spokesperson for Trump confirms that the business mogul has paid the required fees to license Adele's music for his political campaigining.

According to Gossip Cop, Trump's camp has secured a blanket license with ASCAP and BMI to play any and all songs which are governed by those music organizations. Therefore, Trump would have the right to use Adele's songs "Skyfall" and "Rolling in the Deep", regardless of her feelings.

Trump and every candidate, however, would need an additional license to use the artist in question's music for campaign commercials or video. But since they haven't use Adele's musics for campaign commercials or video, there's little she can do.

Adele previously released a statement, saying that she did not give permission to politicians to use her songs at campaign rallies. Her New York rep Benny Tarantini assured the public that the "Hello" songstress was not endorsing anyone with her music.

"Adele has not given permission for her music to be used for any political campaigning," the spokesperson said in an email. Besides Trump, other presidential candidates like Mike Huckabee and Chris Christie previously have "Hello" for their political purpose.
