If you've ever wanted an acoustic version of Zayn Malik's "Pillowtalk", then it's your lucky day. The former One Direction singer recently stripped down the song and he has just taken to Instagram to share a clip of his beautiful performance.
The black-and-white video, which is unfortunately very brief, features the singer standing in front of a mic with his headphones on in what looks like a studio. He showcases his smooth vocals as he sings some lines from the chorus over an acoustic guitar and nothing else.
After a long wait, "Pillowtalk" was released last week as the first single off Zayn's upcoming solo album, "Mind of Mine". The record is planned to be released next month, around the same time he left One Direction a year ago.
"It wasn't planned. It works [out] that way," Malik said of the coincidence in a new phone interview with "Zach Sang & The Gang". "It just seems to coincide with the album launch."
In the same chat, the 23-year-old hottie also shared his opinion on One Direction's "History" music video that includes footage of him despite his departure. "I have the seen the music video. It's cool," he said.
"That was cool. I liked the fact that there were... memories that we shared together. It was a positive thing," he continued. "I enjoyed it. It was nice to look back at the memories that we shared together. It was cool."
