AceShowbiz - Liam Hemsworth never formally popped the question again to his on-again girlfriend Miley Cyrus. A source tells Us Weekly that the star of "The Hunger Games" "never formally proposed again," although she was recently spotted wearing her engagement ring.
Miley reportedly decided to wear the band given by her ex-fiance following their rumored reconciliation. "Liam noticed," the source says of the couple, who ended their engagement back in September 2013. "They are telling friends they're engaged."
Last week, Miley took to Instagram to show off the diamond ring given by Liam. In the picture, the "We Can't Stop" singer donned a green polkadot hat and shirt paired with a pink coat. She put her left hand on her chest. "I look like a f***ing strawberry. #looklikemyf***ingmomdressedmethisam #prettysureihadthissamelookat6," she wrote alongside the snap.
Liam and Miley allegedly began hanging out again following her split from Patrick Schwarzenegger in April 2015. In December, the former "Hannah Montana" star flew to Australia to ring in 2016 with her on-again boyfriend and his family. "Things started getting romantic," says the source.
