While people speculated that Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin had a romantic relationship, the model's father Stephen Baldwin made it clear that the "What Do You Mean" singer and his daughter were "just friends." In a brief interview with TMZ on Sunday, January 17, the actor insisted that "there's no label on" Hailey and Justin's relationship.
Instead of talking about his daughter's relationship with Justin, Stephen said, "Mr. Bieber is a wonderful young man, hugely talented, got a whole lot more success ahead of him." When asked about the possibility that her daughter may marry the 21-year-old singer, he laughed before saying, "We're far away from that."
Justin and Hailey sparked relationship rumor earlier this year, when the two were spotted cozying up to each other on vacation and locking lips on New Year's Eve. On the next day, Hailey posted a snap of her kissing Justin's neck as she hugged him from behind.
Despite all the PDA, Hailey previously clarified that they're not more than just friends. "I've known [Justin] since I was so young - since I was like 13 - and we've just been good friends over the years. We have just stayed close and there's nothing more to it than that," Hailey said.
