In the upcoming 'Chicago P.D.', 'Chicago Fire' and 'Chicago Med' event, Voight finds out that a doctor who is the suspect in a case they're investigating may be involved in his late wife's death.

AceShowbiz - As a "Chicago P.D.", "Chicago Fire" and "Chicago Med" crossover is just around the corner, a new detail about the epic TV event has been revealed. The three-way crossover will deal with a case close to the heart of one of the main characters, Hank Voight (Jason Beghe).
When the "P.D." team investigates a case about a doctor suspected of intentionally killing patients, Voight learns that the suspect, Dr. Dean Reybold (Jeremy Shamos), was his late wife's doctor. This means that the doctor could be involved in his wife's death.
"We really enjoy these crossovers," executive producer Matt Olmstead tells EW. "In this inaugural three-Chicago-show crossover, viewers are going to have the opportunity to see a side of Jason Beghe's Voight that they haven't experienced yet. It's personal, emotional, and there's a good chance viewers may find a new level of compassion for him as this case brings up feelings from his past."
The three-way crossover begins with a "Chicago Fire" episode on Tuesday, January 5 at 9 P.M. ET, followed by a "Chicago Med" outing at 10 P.M. ET. It will conclude on "Chicago P.D." Wednesday, January 6 at 10 P.M. ET. All three series air on NBC.
