Chelsea Clinton, the daughter of former U.S. President Bill Clinton and Democratic Party presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, announced via Twitter on Monday, December 21 that she's expecting her second child. The happy news came just a few months after her first child Charlotte celebrated her first birthday.
"Next summer, Charlotte is going to be a big sister! Feeling very blessed & grateful this holiday season," tweeted Chelsea alongside a black-and-white snap of her first child Charlotte apparently reading a book page which read, "Big Sisters are the BEST."

Just minutes after Chelsea made the big announcement, her mother Hillary quickly jumped in to respond to her tweet. The former Secretary of State was clearly happy about the good news. She tweeted, "Your dad and I could not be happier for you, Marc, and Charlotte. We're so excited to meet our second grandchild! -H."
Hillary recently joked that when her granddaughter Charlotte begins talking, she can call her "whatever she chooses." "I want to wait to see what she does call me," Hillary told ABC News in September. "Grandma's fine. Madame President's fine. Whatever she chooses."
Earlier this year, Chelsea revealed that her mother asked for more grandchildren, less than a year after Charlotte was born. "She was very public about wanting a grandchild, and it's been such a joy to see her as a grandmother," Chelsea said of her mother. "I thought maybe we'd have a little bit more time but she already talks about wanting more grandchildren."
