A new report claims the 'Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation' actor and the former 'Dancing with the Stars' pro exchanged their phone numbers at the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Awards earlier this month.

Tom Cruise and Cheryl Burke reportedly "swapped numbers" at the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Awards on Friday, December 4. According to Star Magazine, the "Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation" actor was "dancing on the air after being introduced to Cheryl at the event.
The tabloid further claimed that Tom "spotted" the former "Dancing with the Stars" pro "from across the room and made a beeline" right for her. A source revealed, "They really hit it off. Cheryl even offered to give Tom some private lessons. And Tom teased that they should learn to tango."
According to the source, "there was so much sexual tension" between the duo. The outlet went on to claim that "the pair swapped numbers - with plans to partner up on and off the dance floor - before the night was over."
Cheryl's representative has denied the rumor though. The rep tells Gossip Cop the report saying that the professional dancer and the "Jack Reacher" actor "swapped numbers" is "not true." According to the rep, they actually "never spoke."
Tom made a surprise appearance at the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Awards to honor four time champion Jeff Gordon. At that time, the "War of the Worlds" actor looked dapper in a classic black tuxedo. Cheryl, meanwhile, was also in attendance wearing a plunging silver dress with a slit.
