Ferrell returns to 'Saturday Night Live' as the former president to poke fun at GOP candidates, while host Chris Hemsworth dresses in drag in a sketch.

AceShowbiz - Joining the hype for "Star Wars: The Force Awakens", "Saturday Night Live" poked fun at an odd phenomenon among movie audience. The variety series took aim at adult fans who are so into their "Star Wars" action figures in a sketch which aired on December 12.

The skit began like a toy commercial featuring kids playing with their "Star Wars" toys. But some nerds, played by Bobby Moynihan, Taran Killam and Kyle Mooney, took the fun out as they insisted that the figurines should be kept in the package. "Leave them in the box and never touch them," Moynihan told one kid.

Moynihan also lectured a kid on the most accurate way to play with the Millennium Falcon. Later, Moynihan got so excited when he put another figure in a glass display, exclaiming, "Awesome!" while the kids looked confused.

The latest edition of the NBC series also saw the return of Will Ferrell as George W. Bush. The funnyman, as the former president, announced that he decided to join the 2016 presidential race and poked fun at GOP candidates in the process.

"The field of Republicans out there is so messed up, I figured you all miss me, don't you?" he said. He called out Dr. Ben Carson, Jeb Bush and Carly Fiorina, whom he dubbed "not qualified to be president...reminds me of me."

He also mocked Donald Trump, whom he called "knucklehead." Ferrell said, "I'll tell you something, whenever I'm feeling bad, I just picture his big bad Oompa Loompa face and I just piss my pants."

He then criticized Trump's call to ban Muslims. "That's like saying 'keep all the Leprechauns out,' " he said, adding that it's "not a good idea, difficult to implement, and not what this country is about."

Meanwhile, host Chris Hemsworth claimed his own share of spotlight as he ditched his masculine image and drag dressed as Claire in a skit. He also appeared in sketches about a pirate named Mark and a cop who wouldn't stop doing his duty although he's bleeding to death.
