In some photos obtained by E! News, Avril looked calm as photographers took picture of her and her estranged husband. She donned a grey onesie paired with green-and-black sneakers while carrying a Louis Vuitton bag and a cup of drink. Her hair was styled in side-swept. Chad, meanwhile, sported a black plaid shirt paired with a white tee and black pants.
A source told the site that Avril stopped to sign an autograph for a fan before hopping into the passenger seat of Chad's car.
While this could look like a step toward a reconciliation for Avril and Chad, a second source claimed things between the "Girlfriend" hitmaker and Ryan Cabrera were heating up. Though the rumored couple was reportedly just "roomates" and Ryan took to Twitter to deny the dating rumors, the insider said they're definitely more than friends.
Avril announced her separation from Chad back in September. "Through not only the marriage, but the music as well, we've created many unforgettable moments," she said in a statement at the time, "We are still and forever will be, the best of friends, and will always care deeply for each other. To all our family, friends and fans, thank you sincerely for the support."
