The Rolling Stones' guitarist Ronnie Wood is set to become a father again. The 68-year-old musician is expecting twins with his third wife Sally Humphreys. A spokesperson for the band says, "Sally and Ronnie Wood are delighted to announce that they are expecting twins in June 2016. Needless to say, they are thrilled and overjoyed with the wonderful news."
Sally, 37, is said to be around three months pregnant with the couple's first children together. "Ronnie is so excited. They've had their 12 week scan and have now started telling everyone," a source tells The Sun, "He can't wait to be a dad again, and doesn't think his age is a problem at all. He still feels very young and fit."
The source adds, "Ever since marrying Sally it had always been a possibility for them. They never ruled it out. But it was a huge shock to learn they were to have twins. But he's more than up for the challenge."
Ronnie is already a father to four children from previous marriages, and has nine grandchildren. He tied the knot with Sally at the Dorchester Hotel in London in December 2012 after a whirlwind six month romance.
