The HBO star has been receiving encouragements to persuade his wife Jennifer Aniston to join the social media as well.

AceShowbiz - At some point recently in his life, Justin Theroux decided that it's time to join Instagram. The star of HBO's "The Leftovers" posted his first snap and shared it to public on the social media on Wednesday, December 2.
Theroux chose to put up a black and white selfie with mountain scenery as the background. He captioned the pic, "#on". The image received more than a thousand likes within 6 hours and he garnered 15.4k followers during the same period of time. The 44-year-old actor followed such celebrity accounts as Robert Downey Jr., Liv Tyler, and Will Arnett.
Theroux has been receiving warm welcome on Instagram, many of whom encourage him to persuade wife Jennifer Aniston to make her own account. "We're expecting selfies with Jennifer, Justin!!!" one user commented.
It might not be an easy job for him. Although Aniston took over Living Proof's Instagram account for a day earlier this year, she admitted that it was "too much pressure". The former "Friends" star also said the social media ruined human interaction. "Kids aren't speaking to each other anymore," she said. "I was with friends of ours from Vermont and their two kids don't have an iPhone or an iPad. They were 9 and 12 and were the most interesting young adults. Seeing other kids on their [cell phones] all the time, it makes me sad."
