Patti LaBelle spent Thanksgiving with a fan who made her sweet potato pies a sensation through his viral video review. James Wright fully documented his special day with his idol on Facebook. He also got to take a selfie with the "Lady Marmalade" hitmaker.

In a video shared by James, the man was invited to Patti's house where she presented him with a birthday cake and serenaded him with a rendition of "Happy Birthday". She also gave James a Louis Vuitton bag because he "is going to be a world traveler."

"This has been the best Thanksgiving ever and it's also been the best birthday ever and I'm very very grateful," James wrote alongside the video, "And at this point in my life I'm kind of speechless but we serve an awesome God a God that can change your life around in less than a second I seek Him so I can be more and more like Him daily like I always say when I'm done the whole world is going to be smiling. Thankyou Ms. Patti Labelle."

In another video, James was seen dancing with Patti to her 1970's hit "You Are My Friend".
