The CW debuted an extensive trailer to its upcoming adaptation of DC Comic's "DC's Legends of Tomorrow". The comics' characters join forces to take down dictator Vandal Savage from taking over the world by traveling to the past.
The series is fronted by Arthur Darvill's Rip Hunter who recruits the elite team who will stop Savage from becoming the monster that he is. "I'm hoping you won't let me, and the world, down," he told The Atom, White Canary, Heat Wave, Captain Cold, Firestorm, Dr. Martin Stein, Hawkman and Hawkgirl.
"I know its difficulty to fathom in the future none of you are heroes, you're Legends," Hunter tells the eight people who are trying to digest his plan. The series stars Victor Garber, Brandon Routh, Caity Lotz, Ciara Renee, Franz Drameh, Dominic Purcell and Wentworth Miller.
A spin-off to "Arrow" and "The Flash", "DC's Legends of Tomorrow" is developed by Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg and Marc Guggenheim. Premiere episode will air January 21, 2016.
