In addition to shutting down Hollywood Boulevard for a massive concert, the boys chatted with host Jimmy Kimmel about their holiday plans and more.

AceShowbiz - One Direction is the latest act to shut down Hollywood Boulevard for an outdoor concert. To celebrate and promote their newly-released fifth studio album "Made in the A.M.", the boys held a massive show there on Thursday night, November 19 as part of that night's episode of "Jimmy Kimmel Live!"

Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne delighted the crowd of thousands who packed the area with live performances of some tracks from the record. They played their latest single "Perfect" and "History" with the colorful lights of the El Capitan Theater as the background.

During their visit to "JKL", the band also had a sit-down with host Jimmy Kimmel and discussed various topics including their upcoming hiatus, their plans for Thanskgiving while they're away from home and their hilarious encounter with Kimmel's father.

"I think just a lot of kind of chilling out will probably happen," Styles said of what he'd do while One Direction takes a break next year. "Maybe a little bit of traveling," Horan added. "I think I've driven past some of the biggest monuments in the world, but never actually stopped beside them, so that would be nice."

Of spending their Thankgiving in America instead of in his home country, Payne said he'd try cooking. Later, they detailed a weird run-in with Kimmel's dad in the studio bathroom right before the show.
