Although Nebula is not the main villain in "Guardians of the Galaxy", she did steal audiences' attention. Karen Gillan, who is on board to reprise her role as the blue-skinned character in "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2", shared some details about the upcoming film, saying that it would address the relationship between Nebula and her sister Gamora.

The 27-year-old actress admitted that she was excited to see Nebula and Gamora's relationship more deeply. "I think what I'm really excited about it delving into the sisterly relationship between Gamora and Nebula," she told Comic Book Resources. "I think that we're going to see a little bit more of that, and it's going to be a bit more fleshed out."

Gillan also said that she was excited when she first received the script and she directly listened to some songs in the "Awesome Mixtape 2", the soundtrack album for the second movie. "I was so excited, and I ran upstairs, and I put on the soundtrack, the 'Awesome Mixtape 2', and then got into it. It's so good," she shared.

Besides Gillan, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista and Bradley Cooper will return for the sequel. Directed by James Gunn, "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" is scheduled to be released in North America on May 5, 2017.
