Sad news comes from JoJo's family. Her father, Joel Maurice Levesque, passed away on Saturday, November 14. He was 60. The 24-year-old singer wrote a touching tribute to her late dad on Instagram along with a picture of her younger self being hugged by her father.
JoJo said in the caption, "I missed you even while you were here. I will miss you infinitely more now that you're gone. Thank you for holding on as long as you did. I know you tried your best. You are free now. I will love you always, Dad. I can feel you with me."
She added, "Rest now. In PEACE. I miss your voice. I wish more people could have heard it. I promise I will keep singing for you."
