Justin Bieber is definitely taking his new album "Purpose" on the road. In a preview for the Wednesday, November 11 episode of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show", the singer announced that he's launching a tour to support the project next year.
"I'm actually going on a tour," Bieber said before the crowd erupted in loud cheers. He, however, appeared to forget other details about what will be his first trek in three years. Asked by host Ellen DeGeneres when he would start the tour, he told her, "This was the only thing I had to remember, and I don't remember it."
"You can go to my website to find out," he said and then made fun of himself, adding, "What am I doing? I'm here to promote an album and a tour." Fortunately, the screen later flashed a blue little box telling viewers that the tour would start on March 9, 2016.
"Purpose" is set to hit the stores this Friday, November 13. The proper follow-up to his 2012 set "Believe" will battle for the No. 1 spot on Billboard 200 against One Direction's "Made in the A.M." that's due out on the same day.
