The 48-year-old actor says that 'XXX 3' will be an 'action of the highest order' and additionally reveals that 'Guardians of the Galaxy 2' script is great.

AceShowbiz - Vin Diesel took to Facebook to share some new updates about his two upcoming projects, "XXX: The Return of Xander Cage" and "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2". He uploaded a video which captures him talking about three new scripts that he just got.
"I'm lucky this Sunday because this weekend I was blessed with three great new scripts," Diesel said in the video. Diesel then talked about the next installment of "XXX" movie series which he called an "action of the highest order." "There's this extreme sports take on the spy genre," Diesel teased.
He later expressed his excitement of being involved in the project. "One of the great things about this script is how much fun it is," he said. He also explained that he loved to portray Xander Cage because the character was so fun. "But Xander Cage is a character that just truly has fun, so I'm blessed that I got a great script," he said.
Another script Diesel talked about in the video was the script of "Guardians 2". He revealed that it's the only script that he got that came with a CD. "I can see why my son is so excited about this," said Diesel.
He explained that the script was great while also praising director James Gunn. "James Gunn is such a great writer. I read this script and I go, 'You're a great director, and you're this good a writer too.' No wonder Marvel is so excited about what you're doing. No wonder Marvel can't wait to see 'Guardians of the Galaxy 2'. Yeah, it's one of those page turners, you cannot put the script down," he shared.
The third project was "Kojak", but Diesel said that he's not doing it anytime soon.
The second installment of "Guardians of the Galaxy" movie series is scheduled for a release in the U.S. on May 5, 2017. Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, Karen Gillan and Bradley Cooper are back to reprise their respective roles. As for "XXX 3", an official released date has yet to be announced, but the movie is expected to be released in 2016.
