AceShowbiz - Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan revealed numerous Halloween costumes on "Live! with Kelly and Michael" on Friday, October 30. In the episode titled "Nightmare on 67th Street", Kelly perfectly recreated Kim Kardashian's iconic Paper cover while Michael impersonated Kanye West.
The retired football athlete wore a tight black T-shirt and impersonated the way Kanye spoke. Michael said, "You know my wife is a talented act. She [is] talented at being beautiful. She's taken a million of great photos. But my favorite is a magazine cover that set out to break the internet." He then introduced Kelly who impersonated Kim, "Ladies and gentlemen, Kim Kardashian West!"
When the curtain was unveiled, Kelly appeared in a black dress similar to what Kim donned on Paper's cover. She held a supposed bottle of champagne which bursted out to her derriere. She struck a pose in front of a brown backdrop. The 45-year-old host hilariously held the faux champagne bottle while walking to another stage.
"Don't you think that running for president in 2020 is something we should have discussed at home before you announced that?" Kelly who played Kim asked her onstage husband. When Michael said that he had a lot of researches and works to do so that he didn't have time to talk to her, Kelly offered her champagne from her bum. "Maybe you'd like some champagne?" she said while putting her faux bum. "No doubt," Michael said while licking the faux champagne on her bum.
In addition to her Kim costume, Kelly wore GOP presidential hopeful Donald Trump costume complete with his iconic combover. The host struck a pose on a podium recreating the GOP debate room. She hilariously sported Donald's iconic pout.
Kelly also impersonated Katy Perry while Michael was her Left Shark. Furthermore, Michael wore a costume inspired by Taraji P. Henson's character on "Empire", Cookie Lyon. The "Magic Mike XXL" actor wore Cookie's iconic leopard-print dress and flashy accessories. He also wore wig to recreate the character.
The "Live! with Kelly and Michael" co-hosts' costumes aside, Nina Dobrev also got into the Halloween spirit on Friday. The former actress of "The Vampire Diaries" opted to be a character from "Harry Potter", Hermione Granger. She took to Instagram to share a snap of her in Hermione costume while holding a wand. "PreHalloween Vibes ... To when I was Harry Ron AND Hermione underneath the invisibility cloak! #FlashBackFriday #HarryPotter," read the caption.
