"The X-Files" unleashes new spooky promos just in time for Halloween. Aptly titled "Spooky Experience", one of the videos reminds fans of Fox Mulder (David Duchovny) and Dana Scully's (Gillian Anderson) experience in spooky cases in the past and now their expertise is needed in a new case.

Another promo titled "The Truth" shares a new glimpse of what looks like an alien spaceship. A boy with an unusually huge head is also seen in the video as Joel McHale's Tad O'Malley says that the government has been hiding alien technology.

In addition to the promo videos, a new poster is released, featuring an X-ray of what appears to be an alien head. "I still want to believe," so reads the tagline of the key art.

The six-episode event series will encompass a mixture of stand-alone investigative episodes and those that further the original show's seminal mythology. Series creator Chris Carter promised that each episode would feature new monster.

Original stars Annabeth Gish (Monica Reyes), Mitch Pileggi (Walter Skinner), William B. Davis (The Smoking Man), Dean Haglund (Langly), Tom Braidwood (Frohike) and Bruce Harwood (Byers) also return for the new series.

"The X-Files" revival will launch with a two-night premiere on Sunday, January 24 and Monday, January 25 on FOX.
