The upcoming "Power Rangers" movie has found its Yellow Ranger. Becky G who has appeared on FOX's "Empire" is officially announced to join the new adaptation as the color-coded superhero who is armed with the "Saber-Toothed Tiger" dinozord powers in battle.

Becky joins previously-confirmed cast members like Dacre Montgomery as Red Ranger who utilizes Tyrannosaurus powers, Naomi Scott as Pink Ranger who uses Pterodactyl powers, Ludi Lin as Black Ranger who gets Mastodon powers, and RJ Cyler as Blue Ranger who gets his powers from Triceratops.

Directed by Dean Israelite, the film is planned for a U.S. release on January 13, 2017. According to Collider, it's titled "Saban's Power Rangers" and will introduce new characters. They are Callum Oliver (Red Ranger), Priya Patel (Pink Ranger), Brian Olson (Blue Ranger), Oscar Fernandez (Black Ranger), and Teyana Jones (Yellow Ranger).
