Zendaya Coleman has just lost one of her best buddies, her childhood dog Midnight. The 19-year-old entertainer wrote an emotional post on her Instagram on Tuesday, October 27, to express her loss and remember her companion.
"My baby went to heaven today. Thank you for being one of the most loyal men in my life, for loving me unconditionally and for cuddling me when ever I needed," the "Replay" singer captioned a photo of her puppy. "I don't know if you ever understood me when I told you but I love you more than you'll ever know." She continued writing, "We've been together since I was 8 and I'm not really sure how to get use to a house without your cute paws clinking around....but thank you for every second of love you gave us. Give Poppi a kiss for me up there."
Over the weekend, Zendaya retweeted a heartfelt message posted by her mother Claire Stoermer who asked for prayers as Midnight laid ill in a vet hospital. "Prayers up for my big baby midnight...he's in the hospital but I'm hoping he will come home to us!" read the tweet. And upon Midnight's death, Stoermer tweeted, "Said goodbye 2 my baby Midnight...11 years of unconditional love," My [heart] is broken but I know he's at peace."
